Most recently, John was the Chief Financial Officer of Rose Villa Retirement Communities. Prior to that, he was senior director of finance for Hannah the Pet Society and the president of Benefithelp Solutions which provides administrative, COBRA and Flexible Account services to corporate and not-for-profit clients. John began his career at Price Waterhouse and later joined the First American Title Insurance Company followed by Schnitzer Investment Corp. He earned an accounting degree from the University of Oregon.
CHAIR-ELECT: Rob Burton, CPA, Principal and Chief Financial Officer, ZGF Architects LLP
Chair, Governance and Board Development Committee
Before joining ZGF Architects LLP, Rob worked as the Chief Financial Officer at Stoel Rives where he was responsible for long- and short-term financial planning, capital and operational budgeting, and issues related to revenue generation. He also served as a key adviser to firm management and developed, implemented and drove business strategies and key initiatives in alignment with the firm's strategic goals. Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Rob served as the Chief Operating Officer at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. His career also includes serving as Director of Finance at Holland & Hart LLP, Senior Manager at Beers & Cutler PLLC and Chief Financial Officer at Thompson & Knight LLP. Rob received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.

Larry has more than 20 years of banking experience. Before joining US Bank, he was with Bank of America. He holds a bachelor's in political science from Oregon State University and an MBA from Michigan State.
Teri L. Barichello, DMD, VP & Chief Dental Officer, Moda Health
Chair, Program and Accreditation Committee
Teri enjoyed 13 years in private practice before joining ODS Companies, now Moda Health, in 2011. She currently serves on the Northwest Dentists Insurance Company Board of Directors, a professional liability and business owners insurance company in Washington State. She has extensive dental leadership experience. Teri served as chair of the American Dental Association Strategic Planning Committee for four years, which culminated in the adoption of its current plan. She served the Oregon Dental Association in numerous positions including President. Teri received her Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University and her Doctor of Dental medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University.
David Boxberger: CEO, LightPoint
David Boxberger is a technology entrepreneur. As the CEO of LightPoint, David spends considerable time with the healthcare community in the Pacific Northwest. David served as the Board Chair for the Children’s Developmental Health Institute (CDHI) during Albertina Kerr’s acquisition of CDHI. As the father of a special needs child, David intimately understands the challenges and rewards of parenting and caring for special needs and developmentally disabled children.
Mary Caballero, AIF, Managing Partner, Impact Benefits and Retirement
Since 2004 Mary has specialized in corporate structure of retirement plans and benefits or individual retirement and wealth planning. Holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Portland State University and is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary. Outside of work Mary’s life revolves around her big Italian and Central American family including her merchant marine husband and two children.

David became a Partner at Ater Wynne LLP in 2004. He regularly advises public and private companies on a variety of tax and transactional matters, including tax-free and taxable mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, recapitalizations, incentive compensation arrangements, and public and private offerings. Because of Ater Wynne's strong emerging business practice, David has significant experience advising early-stage companies on a variety of tax matters.

Craig has twenty six years of experience in the Commercial Property & Casualty Insurance Industry. For more than a decade, he managed the construction and real estate practice for Beecher Carlson. He actively manages a book of business and supports the producers and service teams of his practice. Skilled in insurance program development for large complex risks, including CIPs, Practice Programs, Real Estate Development and Large Property Portfolio Risks. He is active in the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA) and the National Utility Contractors Association (NUCA).

Karen Rasmussen is a diversified financial professional and active leader on boards of professional and non-profit organizations. Her work experience includes auditing with the Big 4, internal audit, and finance leadership. She has assisted healthcare organizations in sustaining compliance with regulations and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Karen founded and led the internal audit and compliance function for a $1 billion integrated healthcare system.
Margaret Rowland, M.D., Retired, Chief Medical Officer for CareOregon
Margaret has been involved with Albertina Kerr since 2008 and returns to our Governing Board. Margie retired in 2015 as the Chief Medical Officer for CareOregon, a nonprofit organization committed to improving and protecting the health of low income and vulnerable Oregonians. She was previously the medical director for both Providence Health Plans and PacifiCare of Oregon. She earned her M.D. at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Previously, Margaret served on the Parents Association Board of Directors at Bucknell University.
Laura Shipley, VP, Senior Professional Service Manager, Umpqua Bank
Laura began her career in the banking industry more than 20 years ago. She specializes in business banking for professional services firms and nonprofit organizations for Umpqua Bank's Private Bank. Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from Southern Oregon University. Laura has served on several boards including the Oregon Law Foundation Board, St. John Fisher School Parent Board and Friends of the Children Ambassador Board. Outside of work, Laura enjoys spending time with family, traveling and enjoying the outdoors with her daughter.

Dennis has served as Principal at the Warneke Group, LLC, an employment benefit consulting, financial and insurance services firm, since 2005. Prior experience includes as an Advisor at Business Exit Timing and at Mutual of Omaha. Dennis previously served on the Board of Directors of the Children’s Developmental Health Institute, which became part of Albertina Kerr in October 2013. He also served on the Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce and the Mt. Park Homeowner’s Association.

Since 2007 Emmett has been with Clackamas County developing a number of programs that have increased diversity and inclusion awareness, recruitment and relationship building. He is a Pastor with Remember the Hope Christion Fellowship. Previously Emmett was VP of Mission Advancement and Chaplain, YMCA of Columbia-Willamette and Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Specialist, Portland General Electric. Emmett is a published poet.

Dr. David Wilson is a practicing dentist with an interest in prosthodontics and anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association and a past-president of Multnomah Dental Society. A Portland area native, Dr. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University.
