Larry has more than 20 years of banking experience with Bank of America, and he recently transferred to Portland after successful tenures in the bank's Seattle and Houston offices. He holds a bachelor's in political science from Oregon State University and an MBA from Michigan State.
CHAIR-ELECT: John Thoma, CPA, Senior Director of Finance, Hannah the Pet Society
Chair, Operations Committee
John serves as the senior director of finance for Hannah the Pet Society. Prior to that, he was the president of Benefithelp Solutions which provides administrative, COBRA and Flexible Account services to corporate and not-for-profit clients. John began his career at Price Waterhouse and later joined the First American Title Insurance Company followed by Schnitzer Investment Corp. He earned an accounting degree from the University of Oregon.

Priscilla has extensive experience in the healthcare field, with positions ranging from general manager to a multi-state homecare organization to vice president for product development in a successful e-healthcare start-up.
Christopher F. Adamek: Practice Director, ACME Business Consulting, LLC
Chris holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Portland and a Master of Science from the University of Oregon, Lundquist College of Business. Chris has more than a dozen years of consulting experience leading systems and process improvement initiatives in a variety of industries including high-tech, financial services and consumer products.
Teri L. Barichello, DMD, VP & Chief Dental officer, Moda Health
Teri enjoyed 13 years in private practice before joining ODS Companies, now Moda Health, in 2011. She currently serves on the Northwest Dentists Insurance Company Board of Directors, a professional liability and business owners insurance company in Washington State. She has extensive dental leadership experience. Teri served as chair of the American Dental Association Strategic Planning Committee for four years, which culminated in the adoption of its current plan. She served the Oregon Dental Association in numerous positions including President. Teri received her Bachelor of Science from Oregon State University and her Doctor of Dental medicine from Oregon Health Sciences University.
Shelley Barnes, MPHA: Family Consultant, Oregon Health Sciences University
Shelley works to provide support and resources to families who have children with a recent diagnosis of autism. Her grandson was diagnosed with autism several years ago and was served by the Kerr Early Intervention Program. This fueled her interest in disabilities and the need for family support, education and treatment. Barnes was previously a nursing home administrator and holds a master's of public health administration from Portland State University. She currently serves on the board for Acumentra Health.

David is a Consumer Representative. He also serves on the Operations Committee.
Rob Burton, Chief Financial Officer, Stoel Rives
As the Chief Financial Officer at Stoel Rives, Rob is responsible for long- and short-term financial planning, capital and operational budgeting, and issues related to revenue generation. He also serves as a key advisor to firm management and develops, implements and drives business strategies and key initiatives in alignment with the firm's strategic goals. Prior to joining Stoel Rives, Rob served as the Chief Operating Officer at Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt. His career also includes serving as Director of Finance at Holland & Hart LLP, Senior Manager at Beers & Cutler PLLC and Chief Financial Officer at Thompson & Knight LLP. Rob received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
David Connell, JD, Partner, Ater Wynne LLP
David became a Partner at Ater Wynne LLP in 2004. He regularly advises public and private companies on a variety of tax and transactional matters, including tax-free and taxable mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, recapitalizations, incentive compensation arrangements, and public and private offerings. Because of Ater Wynne's strong emerging business practice, David has significant experience advertising early-stage companies on a variety of tax matters.
Alex M. Duarte: Community Volunteer
Alex served as Compliance Counsel for Precision Castparts. He was previously Corporate counsel and a Senior Attorney for Qwest Communications and a Partner at Zell & Larson LLP in San Francisco. He earned his B.A. in Political Science at the University of Illinois and his J.D. at Stanford Law School. Alex is currently on the Oregon Liquor Control Commission and has previously served on the Hispanic Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce, the Oregon Board of Maritime Pilots and the Malheur Home Telephone Company.
Angela Hult: Director of Corporate Philanthropy, Regence BlueCross BlueShield and Executive Director, Cambia Health Foundation
Chair, Marketing & Public Relations Committee
As the director of corporate philanthropy, Angela oversees Regence BlueCross BlueShield corporate philanthropic and community involvement efforts, employee giving and volunteerism. She also serves as the executive director of The Cambia Health Foundation. Angela has more than 15 years of regional and global experience in communications, community and business relations, including positions at PacifiCorp, Columbia Sportswear and First Interstate Bank (now Wells Fargo).
Celia Murphey: Community Volunteer
Celia is a Portland native who graduated from the University of Oregon and later earned her master's degree in vocational rehabilitation from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She worked as a rehabilitation conselor with injured workers, account executive, human resources generalist and manager in the insurance industry for 20 years. Celia is a full-time mom to three children, one of whom was born with Down syndrome. This has driven her interest in promoting awareness of the special needs community, including early intervention and the need for safe hosing in a dignified, independent setting.
Rich Smith, JD: Vice President Human Resources, Kaiser Permanente, Northwest Region
Rich's human resources career has spanned more than 20 years at companies such as Pfizer and Mobil where he has gained expertise in strategic planning, talent management, performance management, labor relations and organizational effectiveness. Smith holds both bachelor's and master's degrees in business from the University of Oklahoma, and he earned his JD at Quinnipiac College School of Law in Connecticut.
Serilda Summers-McGee, MBA: Affirmative Action/Diversity Recruitment Consultant, Kaiser Permanente, NW Region
Serilda has also served as the Assistant Deal of Resident Life, Resident Director of Residence Life and the Program Director of the Multicultural Center at Reed College. She holds a bachelor's degree in behavioral science from Grand Valley State University, a master's degree in student affair administration in higher education from Ball State University and an MBA from Willamette University.
James M. Walker: Attorney, Miller Nash LLP
James Walker is a member of the business group at the law firm of Miller Nash LLP. James focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, commercial financing, real estate transactions, and construction law. James is a member of the Oregon State Bar Association and the Multnomah Bar Association. During law school he was a Graduate Student Instructor for the University of Michigan and was a member of the Black Law Student Alliance and Future Advocates in Training.
Karin Wandtke, CPA: Partner at McDonald Jacobs

Karin works with a broad range of nonprofits and businesses to provide both traditional accounting services and consulting. She earned her undergraduate business degree from the University of Oregon and has a master of business administration from Portland State University. Karin serves as the Chair of the Audit & Compliance Committee.
John Ward: President, R & H Construction
Since 1981, John has served in numerous leadership roles at R & H Construction, a commercial general contractor based in Portland, Oregon. He assumed the role of president in 2006 and today leads of staff of more than 175. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fiance from the University of Puget Sound.

Stewart A. Williams III, MBA
Mr. Williams is the Senior Vice President of Willamette Community Bank. Previously, he was the Senior Vice President of Regional Treasury Management for Columbia Bank and he held management positions at the Bank of the Cascades and U.S. Bank. Mr. Williams has also served his community through numerous board and volunteer positions focusing on improving serves for children, education in Zambia, historic preservation, the humane society, banking and business. Mr. Williams earned an MBA from Willamette University and a Bachelors Degree in Public Administration from Indiana University.

Dr. David Wilson is a practicing dentist with an interest in prosthodontics and anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Oregon Dental Association and a past-president of Multnomah Dental Society. A Portland area native, Dr. Wilson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Oregon and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Oregon Health and Sciences University.
