The successful candidate will have a clinical master's degree in social work, counseling psychology, child and family therapy, art therapy, or a closely related clinical discipline; have two years' experience working in a mental health delivery setting, have the ability to relate effectively with clients and families and respond to crisis situations; and be able to meet agency driving requirements. | Albertina Kerr Centers is seeking a Foster Care Recruiter/Trainer/Certifier. This position is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and screening potential foster homes and families for placements; training those families to provide a nurturing, healthful environment for foster children; and certifying the homes on an on-going basis. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience in working with children and families, which experience must include significant experience working with people with developmentally disabilities or significant exposure and knowledge of DD service delivery systems, the ability to develop strong community networks and connections, experience in working with children and families from diverse cultural backgrounds, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to support our foster families. The successful candidate must have a valid Oregon or Washington Driver’s license and a personally-owned vehicle for travel between sites and homes. |

Requirements: Three years of education and/or training/experience in a Human Services field or related field. Two years experience in a service setting for people with developmental disabilities.
