The Newest Tax Advantage for Today

Recently the IRS has created a new provision allowing donors 70 ½ years old or older to make donations from either their Roth or traditional IRAs.  The amount donated may not exceed $100,000 and this IRA opportunity expires at the end of 2007  This gift would not be tax deductible, but the amount is excluded from taxable income.
