Volunteer with Us

You can make a real and lasting difference in the community and in the lives of the people we serve.

Ways to HelpMake a Donation

Together we make a community.

Volunteers, like you, are an integral part of what we do. When you give the gift of time, you make a profound impact on the lives of those we serve. Whether you have just an hour or can give several days a month, our volunteer opportunities will provide you with a fun and meaningful way to share your talents.

The outpatient program completely changed my life and gave me the tools I needed to handle the rest of my life.

Kerr Bikes Volunteers

If you are good with bikes or great with customers, we’d love to have you join the team that makes Kerr Bikes a great place to have fun. We need assistance with:

  • Bike Maintenance – use your skills to adjust brakes, true tires, and change tires
  • Bike Storage – every morning and evening, we move the entire fleet of bikes from the containers under the Hawthorne Bridge, where the bikes are stored at night, to our kiosk and back. The process takes about an hour. Many hands make light work. And, it’s fun!
