All of us at Albertina Kerr hope you and your loved ones are safe. Due to the health risks presented by COVID-19, we are postponing our fundraising event—Rip City Race for the Roses—slated to take place Sunday, April 26. We are researching alternatives, including the possibility of a virtual race in the near future or a new date later this summer or fall.
As this is a rapidly evolving situation, all registered participants will receive more details in the coming weeks. If we successfully secure a new date, your registration will automatically be transferred. At the same time, we recognize postponement could present a conflict for some. We are carefully considering options for those who may not be able to participate on a different date, including deferring your 2020 registration to next year’s Rip City Race for the Roses, scheduled for April 25, 2021.
In the meantime, if you know you will not be able to participate at a later date, we hope you’ll consider donating your 2020 Rip City Race for the Roses entry fee to enable Albertina Kerr to continue round-the-clock, lifesaving care for kids facing mental health challenges and children, teens, and adults experiencing intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
With this in mind,Â
- If you wish to wait and see the options we come up with, no action is needed; stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks
- Â Registered participants who would like to donate their 2020 race entry fee, please email us at [email protected]
