At Albertina Kerr, our 271 Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and 32 Assistant Program Managers (APMs) play a vital role in empowering the individuals we serve. These dedicated professionals help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) gain independence, ensuring they are integrated into their communities.
DSPs provide essential support in various settings, from helping prepare meals and complete homework in their group homes to taking people to medical appointments or family visits. Their work is more than care; it’s about helping individuals achieve personal goals and fostering connections. Whether it’s learning new skills or engaging with the community, DSPs make it happen.
APMs provide leadership and guidance, ensuring their teams deliver top-quality care while maintaining positive environments. They assist with planning and offer financial oversight to support daily operations.
Our DSPs and APMs bring security, independence, and enrichment to the lives of those they support, helping individuals meet personal milestones and build brighter futures.
As we celebrate Frontline Employee Appreciation Week, we extend our deepest gratitude to our incredible DSPs and APMs. Their dedication truly shapes lives and strengthens our community.
