About Our Homes for Adults With I/DD

Our well-maintained homes are in safe residential neighborhoods near parks, schools, and shopping.

We take a holistic approach, offering behavioral supports, medication administration, self-advocacy, training, and community-based activities.

We strive to help our residents identify and achieve their goals, including completing their education and vocational training or finding a meaningful job.

We support daily self-care, such as eating and bathing, while encouraging the development of independent living skills, such as shopping and managing money.

Each home supports 3 to 5 residents based on the home’s size and the residents’ needs.

Residents have private bedrooms that they can decorate and personalize. They share common areas with housemates with similar interests and support needs. All our homes have front and backyards.

Our caregiving staff have established relationships with neighborhood resources, including the public school districts, community colleges, vocational training programs, and public libraries.

Supports We Provide Residents
  • ADL’s: Activities of Daily Living (support with medical, hygiene, mobility, communication, etc.)
  • IADL’s: Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (assist with transportation, money management, appointments, etc.)
  • Mental Health Services: Our nurturing team of social workers and therapists provide one-on-one mental health services directly in the individual’s home, as needed for those ages 18-24 years old.
  • Person-Centered Enrichment Services: Support with employment, community inclusion, life-skill building, etc.
  • Positive Behavior Support Services: Individualized plans designed to support each individual’s specific daily needs.
Who We Serve

We accept applications for eligible adults aged 18+ with an I/DD diagnosis, including autism.

The individuals we serve need 24/7 support.

Our adult residents are typically able to maintain safety with a staff-to-resident ratio available in the home. We do not provide 2:1 or 1:1 caregiver-to-resident staffing ratios.

Where Our Homes Are Located
Kerr’s community-based adult group homes are located throughout Clackamas, Marion, Multnomah, and Washington counties.
