Your Oregon state income tax refund can make a significant impact for youth in crisis. If you are receiving a refund this year, please consider donating all or part of it to Albertina Kerr Kids’ Crisis Care through Oregon’s Charitable Checkoff.
Kerr’s Crisis Psychiatric Care program supports youth from every county in Oregon. Using innovative, evidence-based practices, we break down barriers, reduce stigma, and promote independence, dignity, and quality of life. Last year, 213 youth received life-saving support, and over 90% successfully transitioned home or to a lower level of care.
Donating through Oregon’s Charitable Checkoff is simple. Please follow these steps:
1) Locate Albertina Kerr Kids’ Crisis Care on Oregon state income tax form Schedule OR-DONATE. We are listed on line 16 (charity code #26).
2) Indicate the amount of your refund you wish to donate on the Schedule.
3) After finalizing your donation on the Schedule, enter the total on:
Form OR-40, line 49; Form OR-40-N, line 74, or Form OR-40-P, line 73
