Albertina Kerr is pleased to announce Chris Beaulieu, CFA, has been selected to join its Board of Directors. With more than 20 years of investment portfolio management experience, Beaulieu is vice president and chief investment officer for The Standard Insurance Company.
Kerr Board members actively participate and routinely share their skills, resources and talents in governing the implementation of Kerr’s mission—empowering people experiencing intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health challenges, and other social barriers to lead self-determined lives and reach their full potential—helping Kerr thrive and grow.
“Chris’s leadership and financial expertise will be a valuable addition to our board,” said Miki Herman, Interim CEO of Albertina Kerr. “He also knows firsthand the challenges our community’s most vulnerable children, teens, and adults face.”
A father of five children, including 13-year-old quadruplets, Beaulieu has two brothers who have faced mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. “The Kerr mission speaks to my experience growing up and understanding the strain it puts on families,” he said.
Beaulieu graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in finance and international business from Northeastern University in Boston, Mass. and holds the Certified Financial Analyst® designation.
Since 1907, Albertina Kerr has been caring for our community’s most vulnerable citizens. Today, Kerr offers children and teens struggling with life’s challenges crisis psychiatric care and outpatient mental health services. Kerr also provides safe and supportive 24-hour residential care for individuals experiencing intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (I/DD), and employment services for adults with I/DD.
