I am very excited to announce that Albertina Kerr has achieved a three-year Quality Assurances Accreditation from The Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL). This recognition underscores our commitment to person-centered practices, creating more opportunities for independence and choice. The process included comprehensive evaluations and interviews with staff, families, and individuals we support—an achievement made possible by incredible teamwork. Read more.

We recently celebrated the graduation of our Project SEARCH cohort in partnership with the City of Salem. Over nine months, six interns with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) gained valuable skills, explored meaningful roles, and built confidence for their next steps into competitive, integrated employment. As Erika, one of the interns, shared, “This program has been a life-changer for me.” Read more.

During the holiday season, your generosity brought joy through our Grant A Wish program. With the support of individuals, organizations, and our tag sponsor, HUB International, over 700 meaningful gifts were delivered to the youth and adults we support. On a personal note, I am honored to serve as a mentor at the 12th Annual Women’s Summit featuring Mentoring Monday, hosted by the Portland Business Journal. It’s inspiring to join such incredible women in fostering leadership and strengthening our community. You can register to attend!
