PORTLAND, OREGON (Oct. 1, 2019) – Albertina Kerr is pleased to announce the appointment of Derrick Perry as Chief Program Officer and Janice Jacobs, MBA, as Chief Financial Officer.

“We are excited to bring Derrick and Janice’s visionary, forward-thinking, and transparent leadership to Kerr,” said Jeff Carr, CEO of Albertina Kerr. “They both also have been dedicated to and are passionate about helping people in the human services field.”

As the Chief Program Officer, Perry will oversee the program strategy and operations for Kerr’s wide range of services for children, teens, adults, and families experiencing mental health challenges and intellectual and developmental disabilities. And, in the role as Chief Financial Officer, Jacobs will provide strategic, financial input and leadership to help Kerr achieve its goals, advance its interests, and mitigate financial risks.

Perry has a wealth of experience in specialized and wrap-around treatment and support services for children and adults affected by emotional challenges, autism, learning and developmental disabilities, neglect and abandonment. Most recently, he served as the Children’s Services Deputy Director with the County of Riverside, California Department of Public Social Services, where he was responsible for directing the overall operation of multiple administrative units in the department.

Jacobs comes to Kerr from Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare, where she contributed strategically and secured key financing for innovative growth as Chief Financial Officer. Prior to Cascadia, she spent the bulk of her career at the world’s leading consumer goods company in various finance roles across brands and functions.
